HYDEOLOGY.

Welcome to Hydeology! This community was established for the discussion of all topics concerning Hyde, solo artist and vocalist of L’Arc~en~Ciel. We encourage intelligent discussion and discourse, but flames and wank are not welcome here. The creators wanted a place in fandom where fans could speak their minds freely and openly on whatever they wanted. Well, now it’s here!

Discussion revolving around reports, news, musical projects, movie projects, and personal life are all welcome. Any questions concerning and surrounding Hyde himself are welcomed, too. Even rumors are allowed. Controversial topics? No such thing here. Nothing is too controversial. Something too silly? Nonsense! We encourage silliness, too. Every topic or question imaginable circling Hyde is allowed. Speak your mind, ask questions, and have fun doing it!

The only thing that we ask above all else is that everyone is civil. If you’ve got that part covered, you’ll be welcome to stay within the community. Also, if you have a question, don't be afraid to address it to one of the maintainers!

THE RULES.

Rule #1: Respect ALL community members, Livejournal users, and Livejournal communities. Flaming and/or bashing of other members, users, or communities will not be tolerated for any reason. Disagreeing is fine. In fact, we encourage it! (Sometimes this leads to arguments, and you will not get into trouble for having an argument unless name-calling starts to get thrown around.) Flaming, however, will result in a warning the first time it is done. If your behavior doesn’t change and you continue to disregard this rule, you will be banned.

Rule #2: In the same vein, this isn’t a community for flaming/bashing Hyde, L’Arc~en~Ciel, Megumi, Gackt, or any other affiliated parties. WANKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. This is a discussion, news, and rumor community — not a hate community. If you don’t like someone, you may say so. You are allowed to have opinions here. Just be an adult about them.

Rule #3: You are not allowed to post fan-made creations (icons, wallpapers, fan videos, fanfiction, etc.) here. This is not the community for those things. Any posts featuring fan-made creations will be rejected from the moderation queue.

Rule #4: Stay on topic! If Hyde has nothing to do with what you’re posting about, then it does not belong here. All posts must be related to Hyde in some way. Naturally, this includes all L’Arc~en~Ciel and VAMPS related things.

Rule #5: No file-sharing will be allowed unless you have a particular video or song you would like to ask a question about and you need to share the file in order to ask about something specific in it. Do NOT post requests for songs or videos here.

Rule #6: When posting a large image, many images, or an entry containing a lot of text, use an lj-cut. Don’t know how to use an lj-cut? Everything you need to know is right here.

Rule #7: Discuss! Speculate! Gossip! Anything and everything is welcome. This is a community where you may speak your mind, share information, or ask other members questions regarding Hyde. Nothing is out of the question. Does Hyde practice any sort of religion? When do you think his next project will be released? How you pronounce his name? What is L’Arc~en~Ciel currently doing? What about his marriage/family? What was his childhood like? No topic is off-limits to discuss.

Rule #8: If the purpose of your post isn't to foster a discussion of some sort, whether it’s serious or silly, it will be rejected from the queue. Advertisements, item sales, and other such things will not be allowed onto the community.
